Japan’s Largest Education Franchise Acquires Rights for Abrakadoodle

Meiko, Japan’s largest publicly traded education franchise announced in December 2010 that they have acquired the Master Franchise Rights for Abrakadoodle in Japan. Meiko, with more than 3000 existing franchises, expects rapid and successful growth of the Abrakadoodle brand in Japan. Abrakadoodle CEO Mary Rogers and President Rosemarie Hartnett will visit Japan in March 2011 to assist in launching Meiko’s program.

Abrakadoodle Release Its First App

Abrakadoodle announces the release of their first app called ArtDoodles. ArtDoodles provides three art games for children and adults that operate on the iPhone, iPad and ITouch. The app is available from the iTunes App Store.

Smart CEO announced that Abrakadoodle has received the ECO CEO Finalist Award for the company’s commitment to environmentally conscious best practices and Abrakadoodle’s commitment to educating children about eco friendly practices. Nickelodeon’s Parent Picks Honors Abrakadoodle With Two More Awards
Abrakadoodle announced that it received two additional awards this year from Nickelodeon’s Go City Kids and Parent Picks, bringing the their total awards to nine! Abrakadoodle had received two previous awards for “Best ART Class to Bring Out Your Child’s Inner Picasso.” The two recent awards are for “Best Kid’s Party Entertainer” and “Best Kid’s Party Place.”
